We’ve worked tirelessly to help hard-to-reach charitable groups across the region make the most of the opportunity this match fund had to offer. We’re extremely proud to see that joining has enabled them to raise over £40,000 in just a few months.

“The match funding opportunity made possible by in collaboration with The Eden Project has given smaller charities in Cornwall the boost they needed to get their fundraising into gear, which in turn has helped to support important services in the area. The legacy of the project is to ensure the future sustainability of these groups.”

Dan James,  Eden Project Development Director:  “As an educational charity, Eden recognises the challenges good causes face in generating donations. Collaborating with and Cornwall Community Foundation on this great campaign has enabled us to help neighbouring charities promote their good work.  We were very pleased to make our site, knowledge and skills available to help ensure the campaign was a success.”

The campaign built on the success of previous match fund initiatives, including’s annual ‘Grow Your Tenner’ campaign, which raised over £1.5m across England in 2013; and a North Yorkshire focused project, which ended in April raising over £90,000 for local charities.
