Aval Dor Vodka

Aval Dor is Cornwall’s first premium vodka spirit.

Made from the finest Cornish grown King Edward potatoes, which incidently are the same ones used in our Eden "Extra-Ordinary" pasties sold here on site at the Eden Project!

This vodka is a delightfully, voluptuous and viscous spirit best served neat over cracked ice.

What does Aval Dor mean?

Aval Dor is simply Cornish for potato.

From potatoes to vodka

In 1904 Stafford Matthew Dustow fulfilled his lifelong ambition and bought a quaint little farm nestled in the heart of Cornwall. There he spent the rest of his days growing delicious potatoes in the loamy Cornish soil.

Over 100 years have passed and now Stafford’s great, great grandsons are transforming their finest King Edward potatoes into a premium vodka spirit. Distilled in a tiny copper batch still then blended with mineral water from an aquifer deep beneath the farm.

Try with: Fever-Tree Elderflower or Mediterranean Tonic Water or Fever-Tree Madagascan Cola.
