Gaby Crumb Board

Bambu's chopping boards are all beautifully designed. They are made from organically grown bamboo, then hand shaped and finished with a natural food safe oil. With bamboo's naturally antibacterial properties and low moisture absorption, they are also highly practical.

Easy to care for with a quick wipe-down or soapy rinse in warm water.

This clever design of this bread board means you can now enjoy a loaf of crusty bread without the messy clean up! Unlike other crumb boards the slotted cutting surface is immobilised on either side so there is no problem with the two pieces sliding apart. Also, for cleaning simply hold the board over the sink and the top slotted part pops right out.

Perfect for cutting and serving bread at the table.

NATURAL - the producers only use water-based formaldehyde-free adhesives and all products are hand sanded and finished using a food-safe oil produced from vegetable oils and waxes.

FAIRTRADE - Bambu is committed to the fair treatment of workers, promoting healthy communities and preserving the environment. The boards & trays are made in China by a co-operative where the craftspeople are involved in setting the pricing levels.

SUSTAINABLE - miracle plant bamboo is the fastest growing plant in the world, and is an endlessly renewable resource - growing new shoots from its root system after being harvested. It thrives naturally without using any pesticides or fertilizers, takes in greenhouse gasses and produces 35% more oxygen than the equivalent trees.

How this gift helps

The Eden Project is an educational charity and social enterprise and when you buy anything from our shop, you're supporting our work and educational programmes.

As well as offering our visitors to Eden a memorable, educational day out, we also use our expertise to work with local organisations across the world.

In Thailand, we have been working with local organisation FORRU on reforestation projects to restore large areas of degraded tropical forest. Over 65,000 trees have been planted and community training and learning has been shared across the country building up a network of local knowledge on how to protect rainforests and conserve natural resources..
