Early Jalapeño chilli pepper

A bushy, medium sized plant which produces one of the hottest jalapeño chillies.

Traditionally, jalapeño chillies are eaten when green in colour, and this gives them a distinctive green pepper flavour (albeit with quite a kick!). The fruits will ripen to red if they are left on the plant.

The plants will need staking as they become more mature, but are an ideal vegetable plant for growing in a pot.

The chillies themselves are sausage shaped, and measure about 6-7cm in length. This chilli is sure to add spice to your cooking, measuring over 30,000 scoville units!

Approximately 25 seeds per packet.

Growing instructions included on the front of the packet.

When shopping can be good for the planet

We've taken care to source the greenest products to sell in our shop. That includes making sure that they're not overpackaged, or that they're made from recycled goods, so that they don't add to the waste mountain.

We also watch our waste at the Eden Project, recycling as much as we can, and even turning the food left overs from our cafes into soil through a giant composter!

Watch this video on how Eden 'does waste'.
