This single-origin coffee is naturally processed. After picking, the cherry is left to dry until the fleshy pulp falls off.

The coffee originates from the Ipanema estate in Brazil which has above average pay and strong worker benefits.

Of the 2,200 hectares of land, 70% are used for producing coffee and 30% are reserves and protected forest.

The estate also cultivates sustainable eucalyptus trees, purely to aid in the coffee drying process, not as a timber crop.

Instead of using plastic packaging Mevagissey Coffee have chosen this starch lined biodegradable bag, and that’s not all: you’ll also find a pulp tag, hemp string and even recycled stickers.
