Ordering & Delivery

Standard delivery

UK standard delivery on all products is £5.75 (FREE on orders £50 and over), some exceptions may occur. 

Seeds (UK-only): £2.75

Unfortunately for a small number of postcodes in remote areas of mainland UK we cannot guarantee free delivery. As a charity we set our postage charges according to our courier and have to pass on any additional charges. If you are unsure if your postcode falls into one of these areas please phone our customer services: 01726 818891.

Affected postcodes & delivery charges are as follows:

•             PO30 – PO41 (Isle of Wight) = £16.95

•             AB31 – AB56, IV1 – IV9, HS – HS9, KA27 – KA28, KW1 – KW17, PA20 – PA78, PH1 – PH50, ZE – ZE3 = £17.95

•             BT – BT94, IM – IM9, TR21 – TR25 = £26.95

•             GY – GY9, JE – JE5 = £47.95

We can only send plants, seeds and very large products (e.g. water butts and composters) to delivery addresses in mainland UK.

Delivery times

Most products are dispatched within 1-2 working days of receiving the order. We'll let you know by email when your order has been dispatched.

Your order will normally reach you within 3-4 working days. It may take a little longer in busy periods.

Bouquets

All bouquet deliveries are free. An additional £13.50 surcharge applies to a Saturday delivery only. Order your flowers before 11am the day before, and we will deliver them to you Tuesday – Friday.

Please note that our delivery dates are subject to change and sometimes wintry weather can have an impact on deliveries but we always do our best to tell you if there's a delay. Please do check back here from time to time, where we'll let you know if there are any changes to our delivery times.

Christmas deliveries

For most products, we’re able to guarantee delivery before Christmas if you place your order by 11am, Wednesday 18 December 2019 – but we recommend that you check the Returns & Delivery section on the page of the product(s) you’re ordering, as some products are delivered directly from our suppliers and may have a different last order date. 

Why we dispatch some products directly from our suppliers

This helps to reduce the products' carbon footprint as there are less transport miles. It also helps to keep costs lower.

Stock availability

We try to give accurate stock information when you place your order, but as we don't (as yet) run a live stock update system, when stock gets low we can't promise we will have what you ordered. We do update the stock availability on the site every day, so if your order is urgent then call us and we will help. Please ring 01726 818891.

If for unforeseen reasons your order is unavailable, we will contact you using the details you have given us to arrange an alternative plant or product of similar quality or price. Naturally, if you choose to cancel the order, we will give you a full refund for the unavailable item.

Packing of products

We use recycled packaging where we can, and also re-use surplus boxes from here on site whenever possible. We always take care to ensure that the packages we send reach you in perfect condition and are a delight to open!

Gift wrapping

Let us gift wrap your item and send it directly to your recipient. We’ll package your present up in one of our Eden jute bags* with a ribbon and a handwritten message. You’ll be given the option to choose gift wrapping at the checkout, and the opportunity to add a short, personalised note. Gift wrapping costs £4 per order. Please note that bouquets and products dispatched directly from our suppliers are not available for gift wrapping; this will be indicated at the checkout. *Size and pattern of jute bag varies depending on size of items and availability.
