Chlorophytum variegatum 'reversed' is an easy to care for houseplant also known as a spider plant.

The leaves have a lovely bright green centre with cream margins.

Tolerating average room conditions it is an easy plant to propagate.

When less than a year old, the plant produces small, white flowers on the tips of wiry, upright stems, called runners. The runners are soon weighted down with plantlets giving it a spidery appearance. These are the ‘baby’ plantlets which can trail to 3ft.

Keep soil evenly moist.

Keep plant out of direct sunlight because it can scorch leaves.
