Whatever the season you can brighten your day with the taste of summer! Made with juicy organic Valencia oranges and lashings of sunshine, sourced from the wild San Luis Potosi region in Mexico and lifted by a dash of Fairtrade organic sugar.

The Valencia oranges used grow wild in San Luis Potosi, the most biodiverse region of Mexico and home to over 2,000 different species of plants. The orange groves in this hilly area get plenty of sun and water from a hot humid climate and nutrients from the rich soil typical of a region that’s mostly rainforest.

Karma Cola

The Karma Cola Foundation was created to ensure the communities Karma Cola work with benefit from every cola sold and to make sure the people who grow their cola get something back from the people who drink it.

Karma Cola believe what you drink should not only taste good, it should be good for the land, good for the people who grow the ingredients and as good for you as a fizzy drink can be.

The Fairtrade system was put in place to protect farmers who were historically exploited by big businesses trading commodities from developing nations. It enables growers to be in control of their own business on their own farms and on their own terms.

Karma Cola has been named one of the world’s most ethical companies by The Ethisphere Institute for two years in a row and they’ve been awarded the world’s fairest trader by The Fairtrade Foundation.

Organic farming puts less stress on the land to get more out of it. It’s defined by the absence of chemical fertilisers, pesticides, herbicides or insecticides. This is good news for the land and the people living in and around these farms. It’s also good for flavour as the produce tastes just as nature intended.

Sadly, the biodiversity of rainforests, like the Gola Rainforest where their cola is grown, are threatened by an insatiable appetite for cheaper food grown on a massive scale. Jungles are cleared to make way for cattle farms, palm oil plantations and mono-cultures of high energy-yielding biomass like sugar beet to convert to biofuel.
