Thank you for joining us this February half-term! We explored the weird and wonderful worlds of science and technology, and how they can help us build a better future. Packed with explosive science shows, amazing experiments and genius inventions.

Please note that entry to the Eden Project is not guaranteed without an advanced booking, unless you are a Member or Patron. Visitors to Eden are strongly encouraged to pre-book a time slot in advance of each visit, including Passholders, and those who can visit for free.

Ministry of Science live shows

When: Daily, 11.30am, 1pm and 3pm (10-18 February)

Location: Med Biome

The UK’s favourite science team are back at Eden and more explosive than ever. Join the Ministry of Science in the Mediterranean Biome as they dive deep into the world of science and look at how science shapes the modern world we live in, with a few loud bangs along the way!

Kids Invent Stuff exhibition

When: 10-18 February

Location: Med Terrace

Kids Invent Stuff, the popular YouTube channel that brings kids’ inventions to life, are bringing some of their greatest creations to Eden. Check out their slime launching robot, seed shooting carrot car and Maria Croc-bot the lawn mowing crocodile.

Engineers Ruth and Shawn are preparing for their 100th invention so don’t forget to submit your design at our Idea Station.

Discovery Zone

Discover a range of drop-in experiments and demonstrations that explore ways we can make, eat and travel more sustainably. Try your hand at making new materials, taste a salt and vinegar cricket or test the laws of physics in our friction challenge.

Kids go Free for February half-term at Eden

We're extending our usual free entry for children under five to all children aged 16 or under as part of our February half-term programme, every adult visitor can bring one child for free!

To take advantage of this offer, please pre-book your admission for the full party via the booking links at the top of the page.

This offer is valid for a single entry to Eden only for one child aged 5-16. If you're planning on bringing more than one child aged between 5-16 per adult, you'll need to ensure that any additional children have a valid form of admission.

Please note, this offer excludes tickets to February half-term  workshops and ice skating sessions, for which additional charges apply and must be pre-booked in advance.

Ministry of Science workshops

When: 10.30am and 2pm (10-18 February)

Location: Tipis

Join the Ministry of Science for an interactive workshop that will leave you inspired by the wonders of science!

An additional charge of £1 applies per ticket. Children's tickets can only be booked with an accompanying adult ticket. Max 4 children per adult. Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance. Each session lasts approximately 60 minutes.

Ministry of Science relaxed workshops

When: 10.30am and 2pm (Tuesday 13 and Saturday 17 February)

Location: Tipis

We're offering relaxed sessions for those who’d benefit from an environment with fewer people, and more chance to explore at your own pace. Relaxed sessions are open to all but are designed with those with autism, sensory or communication needs in mind.

During the relaxed session, we will ensure there are no loud or sudden noises and no flashing lights. We will also be operating at a reduced capacity.

An additional charge of £1 applies per ticket. Children's tickets can only be booked with an accompanying adult ticket. Max 4 children per adult. Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance. Each session lasts approximately 60 minutes.
