Pick up your passport and collect stamps from all four corners of the globe – all in one day out in Cornwall.

Arctic story including meeting a polar bear!

Join the Eden Storytellers and learn about the mysteries of the Arctic and listen to an old Inuit story about a polar bear.

  • Times: 11.30am, 1pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm (30-minute story)
  • Venue: Dome Tent, Arena

Flamenco performances and workshops

Watch Claudia perform the beautiful Spanish dance of Flamenco accompanied on guitar and vocals by Jaime. Then dust off your dancing shoes and join with a wonderful Flamenco workshop after each performance.

Didgeridoo performances

Listen to the authentic sounds of Australia with engaging performances from Copperman. Every wondered how to play a didgeridoo? After his performance Copperman will talk about his instruments, how to play and the culture behind them.

  • Times: 10.30am, 1pm, 4.30pm
  • Venue: Western Australia Garden, Mediterranean Biome 

Carnival crafts

Make a crafty carnival instrument and design a beautifully colourful headdress to take part in the daily carnivals around the Rainforest Biome.

  • Times: 9.30am – 6pm
  • Venue: Med Deck, Mediterranean Biome 

Rainforest Carnival

Carnival ready? Let our carnival leaders take you around the Rainforest in a wonderfully colourful and musical parade. 

  • Times: 12pm, 3pm (the Carnival lasts about 20 minutes)
  • Venue: Assemble at the starting point in Spice, make your way from the Carnival crafts activity with us, or simply follow the music!

Blowpipe training

Try your hand at blowpipe training – how many targets can you hit?

  • Times: 9.30am – 6pm
  • Venue: Palm exhibit, Rainforest Biome

Ice fishing

Have a go at fishing through the ice – how many can you catch?

Make your own postcard from around the world to send to a friend – we’ve plenty of materials and inspiration for you.

Face painting

Get yourself ready for the Rainforest Carnival with a colourful design!

  • Times: 11am – 4pm
  • Venue: Med Deck, Mediterranean Biome 
  • For children over three years. Additional cost.

Relaxed sessions

We hosted a free, pre-bookable relaxed session on Sunday 17 February for children with autism spectrum condition, sensory and communication needs, or learning disabilities, who may benefit from a more informal experience.
