Come face-to-face with legendary beasts
Look out as you wander around Eden, where legendary beasts will be roaming freely around the gardens.
Come face-to-face with Sapphire, the winged dragon with a loud roar and fiery breath, and get up close to her cousin Scorcher.
Keep your eyes peeled for Pongo the 8ft-tall flightless bird, who'll be going on playful walkabouts around the Med Biome with his eccentric handler Bill Oddity.

Discover activities to make food for your magical creatures and create amulets to let other animals know your garden is a safe space to be:
- Magical feed for your mythical animals: blend together to right amount of magical ingredients to entice your pet mythical creature.
- Garden Talisman: let other animals know you have a safe space for them to take shelter – decorate your rock and leave it in your garden, you never know what creature may visit!
- Petting Zoo: swing by this stall to meet a magical creature or two.
Dangerous Beasts: Hunt for the Antidote
Charlie Ward is a curator of curious creatures and a daredevil of dangerous beasts, but something has gone wrong and Charlie needs your help. Dare to step up for a series of challenges (from the gruesome to the slimy, with a few surprises along the way) that will uncover the antidote to save this intrepid adventurer – but hurry, time is running out...
Magical tales and mythical beasts lectures
Join the Eden Storytellers for tales of magical creatures. You'll see priceless artefacts from around the world – from a unicorn's horn to a dragon's egg – and delve into these creatures' habits and personalities.

Myths and legends trail
Venture on a spooky trail to learn about mythical creatures from around the world, and join the Eden Storytellers for tales and tips on caring for your own creature!
Get into the spirit with a Halloween-themed face paint. Head to the Med Biome, where face painting is available for a small additional charge (£4 per child over three; £5 per adult).
Pre-bookable relaxed sessions are available for children with autism spectrum condition, sensory and communication needs, or learning disabilities, who may benefit from a more informal experience. Sessions are free with Eden admission.
