The Eden Project will reopen on 17 May 2021. Timed entry tickets for 17 May onwards are available to pre-book online. Our online shop remains open.

This club for parents and carers and their under-fives is designed to help children and their families play and learn together through outdoor games and activities.

What sort of things we get up to

Each week we meet in beautiful ancient fields and woodland on Eden’s outer estate for an hour and a half, where we’ll get you and your child involved in games and stories, quests and treasure hunts, making and creating things, and even campfire cooking activities.

This term at Little Eden we'll be waking up spring. We’ll need your super hero skills on our big potato planting day and you’ll need to hop, skip and jump your way through our sports day. With Mother’s Day approaching we'll be creating the perfect natural gift for the special ladies in our lives. We'll practise our hand-eye coordination skills using tools and making marks, before celebrating the creatures living at Little Eden at Easter time.

You can see what we've been up to recently on our Little Eden Facebook page.

'There is always a selection of activities like bubbles, a mud kitchen and crafts and Jasmine loves toasting marshmallows on the fire.'

Who it’s for

Little Eden is for children of pre-school age (aged 18 months to five years) and their parents or carers. You’ll be part of a group of up to 17 children. The idea is that you accompany your child throughout the session.

When it happens

Little Eden is unfortunately not running this autumn/winter. We're working towards restarting in spring 2021.

Little Eden takes place on Thursday mornings (10am–11.30am).

We hope that you’ll come along to as many of the weekly sessions per term as possible, so that you get to know each other, form friendships and grow skills. At the start of each term you can book your child onto all the sessions at a discounted price.

Where it takes place

The sessions are set at the magical Little Carne Farm, in Eden’s wider estate. (We’ll send you directions once you’ve booked.) We plan to be outside every week unless the weather is dangerously bad. We have a wonderful shelter around our fire, so a bit of drizzle is no problem. We also have a composting loo.

When you book we'll send you joining instructions by email.

How to book

Little Eden is unfortunately not running this autumn/winter. We're working towards restarting in spring 2021.

There is no need to buy an Eden Project admission ticket; instead, simply book a place on the session/s of your choice.

Little Eden is only £7.50 per child per session (£7 for children of Eden Project Members). Or if you're bringing two children along to the session, you'll get a 20% discount – so both can come along for £12.

At the beginning of each term you can also choose our discounted block booking option for the whole term

Adults accompany little ones for free. You’re welcome to bring up to two children aged five and under. Space round our fire is limited so we encourage a maximum of one adult per child. Babies in arms, slings, pushchairs or back packs can come for free.

If you’re an Eden Project Member, to get your discounted rate please log in to our bookings website before choosing your individual sessions from the ‘Events’ top menu. Alternatively, book by calling our Box Office on 01726 811972.
