The Eden Project has closed temporarily – find out more. You can still explore our free resources on gardening, green living, play and more on our website and our social media channels.

What time to arrive

The session starts at 1pm and finishes at 2.30pm.

A member of the Little Eden team will be in the car park to meet you from 12.45pm.

Please arrive in good time to get yourself sorted before we start. We will leave the car park at 1pm.

If you're late: Cross the road and follow the bridleway (signposted to Luxulyan). After about three minutes there is a metal farm gate on the left. Follow the mown pathway around to find us. You'll see our shelter peeking out over the trees

What to wear and bring

We will have a campfire most weeks. There will a portaloo, and we'll provide tea, coffee, drinking water, and a snack for the children. It is a short walk to Little Eden from the car park, and, although the paths to and around the site are mown and cleared, they are not laid. The ground can be uneven. We have tried to keep the site naturally wild, so there are areas of long grass, trees and bracken all of which can be played in and explored, but suitable dress is important.

Be prepared to be outside in all weathers. We suggest you bring:

  • clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (even on dry days it can be muddy and there are often messy play activities)
  • a waterproof jacket and trousers if it’s wet
  • a sunhat and sun cream if it’s hot
  • welly boots or trainers
  • a change of clothes for very young children

The rainy day plan

We are planning to be outside every week. If it’s raining we have shelters, and will plan activities to celebrate the weather! If the weather is really stormy, the club will go ahead but we will make an alternative plan – for example, visiting the Rainforest Biome!

Where to meet us

The Little Eden Club sessions are set at the magical Little Carne Farm, in Eden’s wider estate.

If you're coming to the main visitor entrance of Eden Project (North Gate), park in the first car park on your right – immediately after the cattle grid and before the large pineapple structure. We'll meet you there.

If you come to the East Gate (on Bodelva Road), follow signs straight on for YHA Eden Project, turning right at the T-junction. Pass the YHA hostel (on your left) and keep going over one cattle grid.

Look out for the giant wooden pineapple! Drive past it and park in the next car park on your left, before the second cattle grid.

Get directions to the Eden Project on our website.
