Connect with family and friends this summer as you take time outdoors to explore and enjoy the quiet places and secret spaces of Eden’s magical wild estate.

Wild Families

A morning of outdoor challenge, craft and creativity for families to enjoy together – followed by a leisurely lunchtime by the fire. The activities are ideal for kids aged up to 14 years, however all are welcome.

The Fire Carriers

Tuesday 7 and 21 August, 10am – 1pm

Inspired by an original story, you’ll work together to build the skills needed to work safely with fire. We’ll need to use nature’s riches to create light, warmth and food to make ourselves comfortable in the Cornish Wilds! We’ll light fires using matches and flint and steel, craft lamps and make charcoal. And finally we’ll make and bake bread together around the campfire whilst listening to the story’s end.

Natural Detectives

Tuesday 14 August, 10am – 1pm

Using all our senses we’ll go on an adventure into hidden worlds. You’ll discover secrets in Eden’s woods, fields and hedgerows by looking and then looking again at what is going on beneath our feet. With sensory activities, games and craft we’ll aim to see the living world and all its beauty in new ways. After a morning of exploration and investigation, we’ll relax by the fire with campfire snacks and refreshments for all.

How to book onto Wild Families

Taking part costs from £30 per family*, including refreshments – but please bring your own lunch to enjoy around the fire. There is no need to book places for babies in arms, slings, pushchairs or back packs. Eden Project Members enjoy a 10% discount – find out how to claim this at bottom of this page.

*Mix and match our tickets to suit your family. We offer family tickets for: one adult plus up to two children, £30; or two adults plus up to three children, £50. If you’d like to add an extra adult or child ticket to the above for £15, please telephone our Box Office on 01726 8118972.
