Apprentice pay rate for all vacancies is £3.30 during the first year

Car Parks Operative
Zero hours contract, £6.80 per hour for age 21 and over
We are looking for people to work with our car parks team during our busy periods. We have 11 car parks of varying sizes and we can fill all of these, so you will need to be a quick learner, confident, able to make decisions and to react to changing circumstances to make sure our visitors have a smooth arrival and can find a parking space.
Our car parkers are the first staff that our visitors meet, so we are looking for people who are also friendly, approachable, informative and helpful. If you can do this with a flourish and a smile, even on the wettest of summer days, we would love to hear from you!

Events and Hospitality Assistant
Fixed term until 30th September, zero hours contracts.
Our Events and Hospitality team is looking for hard working, confident people to join its events delivery team for our Wedding Season and Elton John Sessions. A strong eye for detail is essential with an infectious enthusiasm for the role, a hand on approach will be needed at all times.
On a day to day basis you will be in close contact with customers and staff so an excellent customer service attitude and the ability to build working relationships with fellow team members is essential. The main responsibilities of the role include setting up the venues, setting tables, waiting tables, serving drinks and handling cash, all to be done in a friendly and professional manner.
Each event will be different, so you could be hosting a drinks reception in the biomes one week and covering every aspect of a formal dinner the next.
Hours include weekends and late nights.

The main purpose of the role is to engage with our visitors, to talk to them about the food we serve and ensure that they leave our hospitality venues delighted with the food and level of service they have received.
You will be engaging and welcoming and will act as a Barista host, till host, area host and a welcome host. Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude are essential for this role, previous experience working in a hospitality team would be advantageous.

Logistics Services Operative
30 hours per week
£6.80 per hour for age 21 and over
The Eden project is a unique visitor attraction and this is a unique role to fill.
We are looking for people to deal with a variety of different tasks across the whole site both in public areas and behind the scenes.
This will in the main include cleaning of toilets, offices, and associated areas across all of the Eden Project with use of Professional cleaning equipment.
In addition you will be required at times to assist at the recycling plant based at Eden and thus an understanding of recycling streams would be useful.
You need to be enthusiastic and prove a good level of flexibility as the role will also require driving hence a full driving licence is essential and other tasks at Eden as required offering a service to other site staff.
Knowledge of Health and Safety would also be an advantage however all training for the role would be given as required.

You will need a passion for food and be interested in different sites, smells and tastes. Being able to work in a busy environment in an organised and efficient way is key to success in this role. Our ideal candidates will have a passion for food, enthusiasm to learn and the ability to work in a demanding, fast paced environment.
Chef de Partie
£7.89 per hour
We have seasonal roles with contracts throughout the summer season until October and also a number of permanent positions
You will be experienced at this level, creativity is a must as is the ability to work individually, be organised and lead by example. Duties will include overseeing, coaching and training junior staff in preparation, cooking and presentation of all dishes. If you have a passion for food, a commitment to the development of staff and have experience in a role of a similar level then this is the job for you!

Youth Hostel Association (YHA) Team Members
Based on site at the Eden Project (employed by YHA not the Eden Project)
£14,365.00 - £16,627.00 (pro rata)
Part time, seasonal position until October 2015
YHA are looking for talented individuals to make our Hostel a special place for our guests to feel welcome. The positions will be based at the YHA Snoozeboxes on site at Eden, but you will be employed by YHA.
Whether their day has been spent exploring, cycling, walking or a group of school children have been on an adventure of discovery, our people are always on hand to make their stay one to remember.
YHA Eden Project is a new Youth Hostel situated at the Eden Project. We have 58 rooms and 224 beds, a large social space within a marquee as well as a reception café/bar hub. The hostel attracts many school groups as well as families and individuals who are looking to enjoy time at the Eden Project and around. We have a small, friendly team that will grow over the summer months.
