Part time, permanent position
20 hours per week
£7,381pa (£7.09 per hour)
We are looking for someone to work with our Horticulture team to keep our Rainforest, Mediterranean and Outdoor Biomes looking their best all year around.
The role will include routine cleaning and horticultural maintenance within our biomes and horticulture’s back of house facilities. Experience of using leaf blowers, power washers and other small machinery would be beneficial.
While working you will also come into contact with our visitors who are likely to ask questions about Eden. Experience of dealing with the public in a customer service role would be beneficial.

At the Eden Project our visitors mean everything to us. We pride ourselves on creating memories and experiences that will last and that will bring our visitors back to us time and time again. And that’s why we need welcoming people like you.
The main purpose of the role is to engage with our visitors, to talk to them about the food we serve and ensure that they leave our hospitality venues delighted with the food and level of service they have received.
You will be engaging and welcoming and will act as a Barista host, till host, area host and a welcome host. Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude are essential for this role, previous experience working in a hospitality team would be advantageous.

This is a key role within the Hospitality team and main duties will include maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, including washing pots, pans and dishes, cleaning the cookers, sweeping the floors and in general any other activity which is need to ensure the safe and efficient running of the kitchen.

Skilled Horticulturist – Outdoor Biome
£16,000 to £17,136pa
Full time, permanent position
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Horticulturist to join our team responsible for managing and maintaining the plant displays and exhibits in the outdoor gardens.
You will be expected to work to very high standards and have a good eye for detail. An all round knowledge of horticultural skills will be necessary as well as the ability to develop a specialists understanding for specific areas of responsibility.
Ideally you will be a qualified to at least Diploma level with experience of maintaining high quality ornamental displays. Machinery competence and pesticide application, Pa1 and Pa6 qualifications would be an advantage.
You will need to be a team player and be highly motivated and enthusiastic with good communications skills.

Paramedic and Lead Paramedic
Lead Paramedic – full time, permanent position, £23,500pa
Paramedic – part time (20 hours per week), permanent position, £20,000pa pro-rata
The Eden Project is a busy and diverse organisation with thousands of visitors on site each week. We are looking for a Paramedic to provide medical aid to visitors and staff.
You will be providing a leadership role when dealing with medical incidents on site and will liaise with other colleagues, including our Health and Safety team, to promote a safe environment for visitors and staff.
It is essential that you are a HPC registered paramedic with afull driving licence and would be extremely beneficial if you have previous experience as a trainer.

You will need a passion for food and be interested in different sites, smells and tastes. Being able to work in a busy environment in an organised and efficient way is key to success in this role. Our ideal candidates will have a passion for food, enthusiasm to learn and the ability to work in a demanding, fast paced environment.
Chef de Partie
£7.89 per hour
We have seasonal roles with contracts throughout the summer season until October and also a number of permanent positions
You will be experienced at this level, creativity is a must as is the ability to work individually, be organised and lead by example. Duties will include overseeing, coaching and training junior staff in preparation, cooking and presentation of all dishes. If you have a passion for food, a commitment to the development of staff and have experience in a role of a similar level then this is the job for you!

Hangloose Adventure (Based at Eden but employed by Hangloose)
£6.80 per hour
Full time hours available (although we will consider part time/job share), running until mid-September initially.
Our ambition at Hangloose is to bring unforgettable, adrenaline fuelled experiences to the UK, providing a safe environment where visitors can break out of their comfort zones, and live life to the fullest.
Our Instructors are the most important part of the team. They are not only responsible for the smooth running of the site on a daily basis, but also ensuring exceptional standards of both safety and customer care.
Whilst being the enthusiastic, professional faces of Hangloose, Instructors are also a go to point for both emotional and physical support, encouraging visitors to explore their sense of adventure and push themselves to their limit.
We often see up to 300 visitors a day during peak, come rain or shine, so the Instructor role can be challenging and physically demanding, as well as exhilarating and rewarding.
Full training will be given. You must be over 18 to apply for this role. Immediate start.
We are also looking for admin/support assistant 5 days a week until mid September.
With our new Activity ‘The Drop’ opening in the next week or so we need a hardworking/flexible and customer focused person to help make the summer run smoothly for our visitors.
This is a completely new role for Hangloose Adventure and so we are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to grab the challenge and make it their own!
On a typical day you will be dealing with bookings, answering enquiries, selling tickets (both online and offline).
Essentially you will be organising our visitor journey to make it as seamless and enjoyable as possible to visit Hangloose @ Eden!
We are a fast growing company so we can promise that no 2 days will ever be the same and your input will be crucial to help develop the role!
Don’t think you’ll be stuck in the office all day either, as we are sure you will need to be on hand to support (and probably organise) the rest of our team!
Plus our activities need testing daily before we open to the public!
