You will be experienced at this level, creativity is a must; as is the ability to work individually, be organised and lead by example. Duties will include preparation, cooking and presentation of all dishes as well as overseeing, coaching and training junior staff to deliver at the same level.

Our ideal candidates will have a passion for food, enthusiasm to learn and the ability to work in a demanding, fast paced environment.  Duties will include preparation, cooking and presentation of all dishes in numerous venues around site.

Being able to work in a busy environment in an organised and efficient way is key to success in this role.

Community Network Developer - Midlands & East England

Salary from £23k

40 hours per week

1 year fixed term - end of August 2017

The Big Lunch Programme is a unique community initiative that demonstrates UK wide reach, engagement, positive action and the creation of real social capital.  Since it began in 2009, participation in The Big Lunch, the UK’s annual get-together for neighbours, has grown continually with the number of people taking part in 2015 rising to 7.29million.  Alongside this, Big Lunch Extras has been helping people across the UK build the skills and confidence to drive positive social action where it is needed most.
Over the next 2 years we are growing participation in the programme to new heights and aiming to increase the social impact that the programme has on communities and neighbourhoods all over the UK.  To help us, we are looking for a number of people to develop a sustainable support network for our programme participants, working regionally across the UK as part of our hardworking fun and passionate team.

You will take the lead in creating self-sustaining localized support mechanisms for Big Lunch programme participants within a broad territory within the UK.  Key elements of the role include increasing programme participation, developing resources, delivering and supporting events and building networks across people, projects and organisations.
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in community development and be a self-starter with strong networking and relationship building skills.  Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and connect audiences at all levels through delivering events, experiences and resources is essential.

Working for the Eden Project (Charity number 1093070), roles within the Big Lunch Programme are funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund.  The post holder will be based from home, and be responsible for covering a large geographical area of the UK with regular travel across this territory and to team sessions which could be held in other locations around the UK including the Eden Project in Cornwall.  Applicants who live outside the territory being managed are welcome to apply, though will need to be able to visit the area regularly to complete the role effectively.

Governance Coordinator (Higher Apprenticeship)

£15,000pa in year one, rising to £16,000pa in year 2
2 year contract, 40 hours per week

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual for this new position within Eden.

You will work closely with our Company Secretary and will provide administrative support, including Board Papers, legal compliance, insurance and risk management, to the executive team.

In order to be successful you will have an excellent attention to detail and the ability to work alongside senior colleagues, you will have experience in an administration role and be willing to work towards a degree level qualification.

Alongside work you will also study part time at Truro College for a Level 4 Diploma in Business and Administration.
