We seek three exceptional people as follows:

Deputy Financial Controller:
A key role to work with the Financial Controller to deliver accurate and timely month end processes with management accounts and future forecasting. This is a new role, which will also be responsible for the sales ledger, banking and cash reconciliations and line management of a Sales Ledger Clerk. The role-holder will be the Finance Business Partner (see below) for Eden’s extensive multi-venue catering operation and Eden’s corporate events business. This role will likely suit a Chartered Accountant (ACCA or ACA).

Finance Business Partner:
We are transforming the Finance team and have created a new role of Finance Business Partner to deliver added value to the Eden leadership team. These roles will work closely with the leaders of specific key operational areas to deliver the end to end finance cycle of budget, month-end ledgers, management accounts with narrative, P&L review meetings, future forecasting and budget delivery plans.
One role will work specifically on Eden’s extensive on-site and online retail operations and cover the financial elements of the payroll process.
One role will work specifically with Eden’s marketing and creative teams. This role will also cover financial planning and analysis, the overall consolidation of a complex group wide budget, and 5 year + financial forecasts. As such, the role will likely suit an experienced management accountant.

For all roles experience in tourism, catering, retail, corporate events, creative industries or hotel operations would be an advantage. In addition experience in systems configuration and implementation or use of the Access Dimensions finance system would be advantageous.

You will be joining a Finance team of 11 in our bright, friendly and open plan offices at Eden’s headquarters on site in Bodelva, Cornwall. Applications are welcome from both local and relocating applicants (there is no relocation package).

Ideally you will be a qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) with chartered membership of relevant awarding body and at least two years’ experience working in a role similar to those advertised. We will consider applications of nearly-qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA candidates with relevant experience.
