SkyWire: England's longest and fastest zip wire
The SkyWire has now reopened! Take an adrenaline-fuelled headfirst ride in the new 'superman' harness. It’s still the longest zip wire in England at 660m and now it’s definitely the fastest. We've clocked our test pilots going at 60mph!

Take a flight on the longest zip wire in England and see Eden like you've never seen it before! Safely strapped into your harness, you'll hurtle over our iconic Rainforest and Mediterranean Biome structures and our huge outdoor gardens. On a clear day you'll even see the sea in the distance and the countryside that surrounds Eden.
Tickets and prices
You have two options:
- £10 to upgrade your day admission ticket to Eden to include a SkyWire flight.
- £15 to buy a SkyWire ticket, which does not include entry to Eden. If you wish to visit Eden after your flight then your wristband will entitle you to £5 off your entrance fee (on that day only).
Booking your tickets
- Book online here or book your slot by going to SkyWire departures. You can park in any car park at Eden and use our free park-and-ride service to get to SkyWire departures. Buses run at least every 15 minutes. If you wish to visit the Eden Project before your flight, please allow at least half an hour to make this journey.
- There may be a wait at busy times.
- Bookings are non-transferable and non-refundable except in the event of adverse weather conditions, such as high winds or thunderstorms. In this case we will contact ticket holders as soon as possible and arrange for another time or a refund.
Opening times
The SkyWire is open daily: first flight at 10am, last flight at 5pm.

Clothing and baggage
- As you are flying over other people you are expected to wear appropriate clothing and sensible footwear: high heels; flip flops and loose shoes are not acceptable.

If possible, large luggage should be left in your vehicle or a locker on site. Alternatively it is possible for us to transport your luggage down to the landing; however, you may experience a delay in being able to collect it. We take no responsibility for the safety of any of your valuables or possessions.
- Long hair must be tied back. Glasses must be completely enclosed by the safety goggles provided, or removed.
- Certain jewellery must be taped or removed.
The above list of terms and conditions is not exhaustive and ultimately your suitability to fly will be determined by our Instructors.
Accessibility
We are trying to make the SkyWire as accessible as possible. Please be aware that it is an adventurous activity and the only way currently to reach the departures platform is by climbing three flights of stairs. We hope to be able to improve this in the near future.
