Kids' and family events at Eden

We put on special events for children and families throughout the year, in addition to the many permanent exhibits, workshops and activities on site.

Kids’ events by season

Here’s a small sample of what we offer for children during the year:

Spring

Freaky Nature: discover the weird and wonderful world of plants with interactive exhibits.
SkyWire: ride England's longest zip wire, and get a bird's eye view of our enormous Biomes!
Rock climbing: climb up to see Eden from a whole new perspective (minimum age: seven years old). Check out our Saturday morning Kids Rock climbing club.

Summer

The Lorax at Eden: in 2012 we staged this great play event for kids inspired by The Lorax – this summer’s blockbuster movie based on a Dr Seuss book with a really cool environmental message.
BIANCO circus: in 2012 NoFit State Circus brought their new BIANCO show to Cornwall following the success of Labyrinth in 2011.
SkyWire: ride England's longest zip wire, and get a bird's eye view of our enormous Biomes!
Rock climbing: climb up to see Eden from a whole new perspective (minimum age: seven years old).

Autumn

Halloweden: spooky goings-on, including the Little Monsters’ Ball disco and ice skating.
Ice skating on our beautifully decorated rink.

Rock climbing: climb up to see Eden from a whole new perspective (minimum age: seven years old).

Winter

Time of Gifts: festive events, longer opening hours and beautiful decorations to bring warmth and light to those long, dark evenings.
Ice skating on our beautifully decorated rink.
Animate It! with Shaun the Sheep: loads of fun for February half-term, including animation workshops with Aardman's experts and a Shaun-themed trail around the Biomes.
