Eden's climate change programme

We call our work on climate change 'Climate Revolution' because we believe the issue offers our generation an extraordinary opportunity to remake our world from top to bottom.

Cutting emissions and adapting to anticipated changes in climate requires long-term investment in everything from clean energy to the prevention of deforestation – exactly the same investments needed to fight the age-old scourges of mankind: poverty, inequality, famine, disease, displacement and the despoiled landscape.

So while our generation may have to remake the world, we also have the chance to make it a better one.

Below is a taste of what we're doing as part of our Climate Revolution, in our work here at Eden and with schools and businesses.

Generating green energy
A geothermal power plant at Eden is to produce renewable heat and electricity from deep inside the Cornish granite – to heat our Biomes and feed power into the national grid.
