Not just a classic milk chocolate bar, but a Tony’s Chocolonely classic chocolate bar.

It was the first bar they ever made, back in 2005. They gave it a screaming red wrapper to attract attention to their main mission - 100% slave-free chocolate.

Why are the bars unevenly divided?

Each Tony’s Chocolonely bar is divided into unequal pieces, instead of the traditional blocks you would normally expect. This is because to Tony’s it didn’t make sense for the bars to be divided equally when there is so much inequality in the chocolate industry.

Tony’s mission is to make 100% slave free the norm in chocolate! To help them get there they have created a roadmap that outlines their long-term goals. Every year they take (small and large) steps that move them towards these goals. Their roadmap consists of three pillars: 

  1. Create awareness
  2. Lead by example
  3. Inspire others to act

They can't do it alone. The more people that choose slave free and spread the message, the sooner 100% slave free will be the norm in chocolate. Together we can make chocolate 100% slave free.
