An Eden apprenticeship is the chance for talented, enthusiastic and passionate people aged 16-24 to work at the Eden Project, or another organisation in Cornwall, while studying for a nationally recognised qualification.

As well as enjoying expert tuition from Cornwall College’s expert trainers at the Eden Project’s dedicated learning space, apprentices benefit from working with the business’s team members in their chosen area.

We offer opportunities as:

  • An Eden Chef
  • An Eden Gardener
  • An Eden Host
  • A heritage craft apprentice

You can read about these in more detail towards the bottom of this page.

Other apprenticeship opportunities

In addition to the three core apprenticeships below that we offer in partnership with Cornwall College Learning, Eden is also committed to developing young people in other areas of the organisation. To support this we also have apprentices in the following disciplines:

Like the core Eden Learning apprenticeships these are also two-year placements and become part of the overall Eden learning cohort. Each year there will be a small number of new apprenticeship placements added, which are publicised on our Current Vacancies page.

Two of our apprentices were awarded Cornwall Apprentice of the Year prizes in 2015, and in 2016 Eden Project won the Outstanding Commitment to Apprenticeships award at Cornwall’s Excellence in Training Awards.
