Every day is different, but you’ll always find a fine selection of food including handmade pastries in the morning, savoury dishes at lunchtime and amazing cakes and scones in the afternoon.

We cater for vegetarians, vegans, meat-eaters, gluten-free and dairy-free diets (if you have a specific requirement or allergy, please tell a member of staff). For more detailed dietary information, please see this PDF.

Hot meals, from about 12pm

Cornish sausage and ale casserole, £8.95 

A chunky vegetable and Cornish ale casserole with locally-sourced, award-winning sausages served with mini roast potatoes and winter greens.

Cornish gouda and herb-crusted white fish, £8.95

Locally-caught sustainable ling crusted and served with mini roast potatoes and winter greens with in a crème fraiche and herb sauce. 

Smokey black bean stew, £8.95

A spiced and warming black bean stew with tomato, orange and coriander salsa and served with home-baked corn bread.

Oven-baked curried chicken, £8.95

Lightly chargrilled and then baked on a medley of winter vegetables in a light curry sauce and served with basmati rice.

Soup

Chef’s homemade soup of the day served with Eden-baked bread: mildly-spiced roasted butternut squash soup, topped with flaked almonds and seeds.

Recommended for children aged 8 and under

Children’s favourite mac 'n' cheese served with peas: £5.50 (larger portion £7.95)

Lamb meatballs in a tomato sauce served with mini roast potatoes and peas: £5.75 (larger portion £8.75)

Breaded fish bites served with mini roast potatoes and peas: £5.75

Sourcing and recycling

We’re proud that over 90% of the money we spend on catering suppliers is spent on businesses in Cornwall and Devon. We use only Cornish meat, dairy and eggs in our on-site cafes – as well as Cornish salad leaves when they are in season. Find out about our sourcing.

We recycle a lot of our food waste in a huge composter that transforms it into a nitrogen-rich soil enhancer for our gardens.

The Eden Kitchen is a welcoming place where you can enjoy freshly created food and a drink, sharing long tables with other visitors. We designed the Eden Kitchen so that you can reconnect with food and see it prepared before you.
