Simon joined the Eden Project as General Manager for Eden’s Cornwall site in December 2023.

Simon is a visitor attraction, leisure, and tourism industry specialist with over 30 years’ experience in the field, passionate about the natural world, environmental issues, people, and the guest experience. Having worked as General Manager for large national and international brands such as Bannatyne Health Clubs, Parkdean Holidays and Warner Bros. Cinemas, Simon also brings a wealth of Cornwall-specific expertise and experience to the role. Between 2010 and 2012, he was Chairman of CATA (Cornwall Association of Tourist Attractions), and for a decade – up until 2018 – he was General Manager at the Cornish visitor attraction Camel Creek (formally Crealy Adventure Park).
Simon is married to Alice and together they have four children and two grandchildren. Hobbies include family walks, hiking, and going to the cinema.
