An Omaze partnership that began with a guaranteed £1 million donation has delivered a transformational £4.5 million for the charity Eden Project’s new destination in Morecambe – securing one of the most significant elements of the new world-class visitor destination due to open in 2028.
This summer, the Eden Project will pass on significant summer savings to visitors following new government legislation that will see VAT cut from 20 percent to 5 per cent for UK family attractions.
Everyone was welcome at the Eden Project's Big Lunch this week – including Brutus the Triceratops. The giant plant-eating dinosaur joined families, staff and supporters in the Rainforest Biome to launch a weekend of friendship, food, fun and action as The Big Lunch and The Big Help Out get underway from 5–8 June across the UK.

A guaranteed £1 million raised through the Omaze Million Pound House Draw is providing a significant boost to the next phase of development for Eden Project Morecambe, as plans continue towards opening the pioneering new destination overlooking Morecambe Bay in 2028.
