Eden Project General Admission + Zip Wire

It is the responsibility of all zip wire participants to ensure that they are dressed appropriately for the zip wire experience. Please wear clothing suitable for forecast weather conditions. There is a very small chance that clothing may be damaged.

Zip wire clothing restrictions

To prevent harnesses having contact with the skin and causing chaffing:

• Thighs to be covered for your comfort however is not necessary
• Tops must cover your shoulders – no crop, strappy, vest or tank tops
• Footwear must be closed-toe, flat design and secured appropriately – no sandals, flip flops, high heels, slip ons etc

Items of clothing will be available on the day to purchase if you have not adhered to Hangloose's restrictions.

Hangloose provide lockers to store bags and loose items. They take no responsibility for the safety or security of your possessions. 

Top tips for visiting Eden

• The Rainforest Biome can get up-to 35˚C so we recommend you wear layers
• We have over 20 acres of outdoor gardens, so don't forget a water proof coat if rain is forecast
• Pack suncream and a sun hat during spring and summer – you can get sunburnt inside our Biomes

You can enter the Eden Project at any time on the day of your zip wire experience. You can check our opening times here. 

After you book, you will be emailed a code by the Hangloose zip wire team, which you can then use to book a time slot of your choice for the zip wire. This email will be sent out between 9am–5pm, so you may experience a delay between booking your ticket and receiving this code. You can check Hangloose's opening hours here. You just need to make sure you arrive at Hangloose's Reception Dome at the start of your time slot. 

If you are exploring Eden ahead of your zip wire ride, we'd recommend allowing at least 30 minutes to get to Hangloose's Reception Dome. You will need to return to the Eden Project's Visitor Centre and then follow signs for Hangloose. It's a 10-15 walk from the Visitor Centre. If your zip wire experience finishes before Eden closes, you can re-enter Eden and continue exploring. 

For all future visits to Eden using your annual pass, to guarantee entry, we'd recommend you pre-book a free time slot.

Kids must be at least 30kg (4st 7lb), and 8-years-old. The zip wire is 96 metres above the ground at its highest point and thrill-seekers travel up-to 60mph – so the zip wire requires some bravery (even for adults!)

Please note, the minimum weight can be raised at any time for safety reasons. 

You must weigh between 30kg (4 stone 10lb) and 120kg (18 stone 12 lb) for the zip wire. Children under 10-years-old are likely to be too light for the activity, so we recommend that you weigh children before booking this ticket.

Yes, this experience must be booked online at least 48 hours in advance. To avoid disappointment, we recommend booking as soon as possible as there are only a limited number of these tickets available every day. 

Yes, you can use your own GoPro camera equipment, but there are certain restrictions in place:

• Only helmet attachments with the GoPro locking foot are allowed
• Poles, wrist straps and hand-held mounts are not allowed
• Cameras must be secured with the appropriate screw fixing and checked by an instructor before you go on the zip wire

If you do not own a GoPro or camera, the Hangloose team has media packs available to purchase. 

The Hangloose zip wire operates in all weather conditions except for extremely high winds or thunderstorms, so please come prepared for wet weather.

In the rare instance that activities are cancelled by the Hangloose team due to exceptional weather conditions, every effort will be made to contact you. In these cases, you will be offered an alternative activity, the chance to re-schedule or a full refund. 

Yes! This ticket includes an Annual Pass to visit the Eden Project as many times as you like for a full year from the date of your first visit. Please note that you can participate in the zip wire experience only once with this ticket.
