Write your Will for free

We are pleased to offer a Will writing service through our partner Guardian Angel.

You are under no obligation to leave us a gift, but if you choose to do so, you could help Eden demonstrate the power of ordinary people trying to change the world for generations to come.

Guardian Angel also provide a subscription service, so you can update your Will at any time for just £10 per year. This is free for the first year, but you can unsubscribe at any time.

The online Will writing service is only suitable for residents of England and Wales. For more complex estates or for our supporters in Scotland and Northern Ireland, please call the Guardian Angel team on 0800 773 4014 and quote Eden Project to make an appointment to write your Will over the phone or in person with a solicitor.

Why leave a gift to Eden?

The planet is under threat endangering its ability to sustain life as we know it. We face many challenges: biodiversity loss, climate change, water pollution, and food security issues. But there is still time to turn things around.

Eden is a charity – we receive no statutory funding – and our projects transform places and environments, and improve people's lives.

For example, Eden is home to the National Wildflower Centre, working to reverse ecological decline and bring wildflowers back into the UK’s living culture. A legacy gift of £500 could fund the cleaning and seed storage facilities for one threatened species, and £1,000 could help us plant an entire field of wildflowers.

However, you don’t need to have a certain amount to be able to leave a gift in your Will. No matter the size, every gift to Eden helps us to achieve our mission and improve our world for the next generation.

Our promises to you

  • We understand that your loved ones will always come first
  • We won't put you under any pressure
  • We won't ask you about the size or type of your gift
  • We respect your right to change your mind
  • Your gift will be used to support our area of greatest need

Why do I need to make a Will?

Your Will defines two very important things: who should inherit your money, property, and possessions; and who will be in charge of following the instructions you leave in your Will. Everyone needs a Will, regardless of age, health, or wealth.

Having a Will gives you peace of mind, by ensuring that your loved ones are provided for  and your final wishes are carried out. It is also an opportunity to support the causes that have been significant to you in your lifetime, and invest in your vision for a better future.

What if I already have a Will?

It is a good idea to review it regularly to ensure that it still meets your wishes; this is particularly important if your circumstances change.

If you already have a Will in place, and would like to include a gift to the Eden Project, you can download the Codicil form to complete and store with your Will.
