Terms and conditions: Festival of Imagination giveaway

This competition is now closed.

1. Eligibility: The giveaway is open to participants who meet the following criteria:

• Participants must be 16 years of age or older.
• Participants must be residents of the United Kingdom.

Employees of the Eden Project and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

2. Entry Period: The giveaway begins at midday on Thursday 18 May 2023 and ends at midday on Tuesday 23 May 2023 (GMT). Entries submitted before or after the entry period will not be considered.

3. Entry Method:

• To enter, participants must follow the instructions stated in the giveaway post.
• Participants must like the giveaway post, follow the Eden Project on the social media platform, tag at least one person in the comments. Sharing the post on their feed or story is optional for an additional entry.
• Each participant can enter multiple times by tagging different people in separate comments.

4. Winner Selection:

• The winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries.
• The winner will be announced by 5pm on Wednesday 24 May 2023 on the original post and will also be notified via direct message.
• If the winner does not respond within 48 hours after notification, a new winner will be chosen.

5. Prize:

• A family entry ticket to the Eden Project for up to 2 adults and 3 children which can be used for one day between Saturday 27 May – Sunday 4 June 2023 as part of our Festival of Imagination. There will be no physical ticket provided – the winner will be added to the guest list on their chosen day of entry. At least 24 hours’ notice must be given ahead of the winner’s visit. This includes standard entry to the Eden Project for the day. Does not include tickets to additional paid-for sessions as part of the Festival.

These prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.

6. Delivery:

• The prize will be shipped to the winner's address at no cost.
• The Eden Project is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items during shipping.

7. Publicity:

• By entering the giveaway, participants grant the Eden Project the right to use their name and likeness in promotional materials related to the giveaway.

8. Privacy:

• The winner’s full name, email address and postal address will be required in order to send the physical prize bundle and the day entry tickets.
• Any personal information collected during the giveaway will be used solely for the purpose of conducting the giveaway and will be handled in accordance with Eden Project's privacy policy.

9. General Terms:

• The Eden Project reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the giveaway at any time without prior notice.
• By participating in the giveaway, participants agree to comply with these terms and conditions and all decisions made by the Eden Project are final and binding.
• This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Meta.
