Terms and conditions: Summer Giveaway

Please review and agree to these terms and conditions before entering the giveaway. 

T&Cs

1. Eligibility: The giveaway is open to participants who meet the following criteria:

  • Participants must be 16 years of age or older.
  • Participants must be residents of the United Kingdom.

Employees of the Eden Project and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

2. Entry Period: The giveaway begins at 8am on Thursday 15 June 2023 and ends at midnight on Sunday 25 June 2023 (GMT). Entries submitted before or after the entry period will not be considered.

3. Entry Method:

  • To enter, participants must follow the instructions stated in the giveaway post.
  • Participants must like the giveaway post, follow the Eden Project on the social media platform and tag at least one person in the comments. Sharing the post on their feed or story is optional for an additional entry.
  • Each participant can enter multiple times by tagging different people in separate comments.

4. Winner Selection:

  • The winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries.
  • The winner will be announced by Tuesday 27 June 2023 on the original post and will also be notified via direct message.
  • If the winner does not respond within 48 hours after notification, a new winner will be chosen.

5. Prize:

  • A Family Annual Pass to the Eden Project for up to 2 adults and 2 children. This includes free entry to the Eden Project on the initial visit and up to twelve months thereafter. Aside from the initial visit, the winner will need to book a free timed entry slot for any subsequent visits online using the original booking reference provided.
  • Accommodation at the YHA Eden Project for one night in a Landpod, sleeping up to 2 adults, 2 children. The winner will need to provide as much notice as possible ahead of their stay, at a minimum of 14 days notice. Landpods are subject to availability and we cannot guarantee the winner's preferred date.
  • £150 voucher to use at our catering outlets and in the Eden Project Shop.

These prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives. The winner must redeem all prizes within 12 months of the giveaway closing date.

6. Privacy:

  • The winner’s full name, email address and postal address will be required in order to process the prize and send over the booking details.
  • Any personal information collected during the giveaway will be used solely for the purpose of conducting the giveaway and will be handled in accordance with Eden Project's privacy policy.

7. General Terms:

  • The Eden Project reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the giveaway at any time without prior notice.
  • By participating in the giveaway, participants agree to comply with these terms and conditions and all decisions made by the Eden Project are final and binding.
  • This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Meta.
