Souvenir T-Shirt

A man modeling the Eden Project marathon tshirt smiles whilst standing in a woodland

We made the decision not to offer a t-shirt in 2022 as thousands are either not collected or not worn after race events each year. Instead, we planted a tree sapling at Eden for every runner registered to support The Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

You may wish to purchase a souvenir instead, these are available here.

The t-shirts are made with certified organic cotton, powered by renewable energy and designed from the start to be sent back after it's worn out for remanufacturing instead of entering landfill. The first circular economy for fashion where there is no waste. Find more information on the sustainable production process here.

Marathon

Why we set up this Marathon

We created the course through Cornwall's dramatic Clay Country not only to offer a unique sporting experience for runners nationwide, but to showcase the unique region on our doorstep. The idea came from a conversation with the local St Austell Running Club, whose commitment, enthusiasm and passion have been invaluable in putting on the event.

The Marathon is just one of the many ways Eden aims to act as a catalyst for economic growth in the local region. If we could build this place, in a former clay pit, surely together we can all take on even bigger challenges…
