Ice skating
Lace up your skates! Cornwall's only ice rink will be reopening on 19 October 2024.
Learn how to ice skate by taking our six-week courses, which happen on selected Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings throughout winter.
We are currently only taking bookings for courses starting in November, but future courses will be available soon.
Learn how to ice skate with our courses that run between November and February.
Each course consists of weekly 30-minute ice skating lessons for six weeks, and costs £66 for adults (17+) and £56 for children (6–16). Please note, skaters participating in lessons must also have a valid form of admission to the Eden Project and there is a minimum age of 6 years.
Although lessons include boot hire, we highly recommend you bring your own ice skates.
Private lessons are also available, and are booked directly through our skating coaches dependent on their availability.
For more information, please contact us or speak to a member of the Ice Rink Team when you are visiting Eden.
For just £25, anyone who is an experienced skater or taking skating lessons can benefit from a Lesson Skater Pass. Experienced skaters include anyone who is practicing or competing, or has competent skating skills.
With this Pass you can enjoy half price general skating sessions, and also access our exclusive Ice Patch sessions so that you can practice your skills. The Pass includes entry to the Eden Project, is valid until 23 February 2025, and can be bought at any point during the season. Passes have to be purchased when you are at the Eden Project, so please speak to our ice rink team when you visit.
Our Ice Patch sessions are perfect for experienced skaters and those undertaking group lessons or working with a private coach. With very limited capacity, these sessions are an ideal time to practice spins, jumps and skills to progress further.
You must have a Lesson Skater Pass to book this sessions, and they run most weeks during term time on selected evenings throughout the winter.
