Summer of Play

Thank you for joining us for a Summer of Play. We'll be back next year with more fun!

Summer of Play at the Eden Project is now on

Don't miss a summer of fun and games at Eden!

This summer, visitors explored Eden to connect with family and friends in fun, hands-on activities – from outdoor games and storytelling, to den building and a board game compendium!

Our Stage and Arena was transformed into a colourful, lively den village, with a range of materials to choose from, to take on the challenge of building your very own den, using team work and imagination.

Nearby, the Orchard hosted a selection of family-friendly games and playful challenges to test your skills – including hoopla, giant Jenga and four in a row! Our Tipis were home to an exciting board game compendium where visitors could challenge themselves with all the classics or maybe learn to play something completely new.

Nature's Playground

We unveiled a spectacular new natural adventure play area in our Outdoor Gardens. Nature’s Playground covers nearly 500 square metres and is located behind the Core Building in our Outdoor Gardens.

Nature’s Playground features slides, a swing, water play and more – as well as the majestic nine-metre-tall Tree of Life tower, which can be seen right across our Outdoor Gardens.

Water play is a key sensory element of the playground, so we recommend that you come prepared for your child(ren) to get wet.

Discover the magic of stories

Our skilled Eden Tale Makers weaved spellbinding narratives that transported you to far-off lands and exciting worlds! Inspired by Britain’s lost wild spaces and have crafted stories from old British folktales to enhance the incredible flora and fauna of our wild Isles.
