Schools Workshop: Roam Across the World @ Eden (year 6-11)
Where else can you travel the entire world in a single day? In this workshop, students will journey across the Eden Project site, discovering plants and exhibits from all over the world.
This session enables your pupils to develop important life skills, such as effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. It’s been designed to celebrate the awe and wonder of this place and is focused on providing learners with an understanding of the importance of nature that will contribute to them becoming responsible and engaged citizens. This workshop will take your students into both our Rainforest and Mediterranean Biomes and around parts of our Outdoor Gardens.

Practical information
This workshop has been designed for groups visiting Eden as part of an Enrichment Week, on a residential, or simply wanting to experience everything that the Eden Project has on show. It focusses on providing students with the knowledge and practical skills required to become engaged members of a global community, who understand the importance of nature and are equipped to create and flourish in a better world for all living things.
This workshop begins and ends in our purpose-built education centre (The Core) but will take pupils across the entire Eden site, including quick visits to both the Rainforest and Mediterranean Biomes, and around parts of our Outdoor Gardens.
The workshop costs £8.75 per pupil with a minimum charge of £175 per group (includes VAT). Maximum group size is 35. The cost includes:
- A facilitated workshop with our Education Team
- Free access to the Eden site for the day
- All equipment needed for the workshop
- A personal welcome from the Education Team at the entrance
- A base for your bags in our purpose-built education centre, The Core
- A space to eat your own lunch
The price includes free entry for accompanying adult helpers, whose participation is essential to the success of the day (please note our suggested adult/pupil ratios are as follows: Early Years Foundation Stage, 1:3; Key Stage 1, 1:6; Key Stage 2 and 3, 1:10; Key Stage 4, 1:15; Key Stage 5, 1:20). You’re welcome to bring more helpers if you’d like. Additional helpers are charged at our group booking rate.
We also offer a free preparatory visit to Eden for teachers wanting to plan their school trip, which should be booked in advance.
