You'll get the chance to ask your questions to a celebrated panel of horticultural experts, including Anne Swithinbank, Chris Beardshaw, Francis Tophill and host Kathy Clugston. Tickets for this event are very limited.

Useful information

  • If you would like to ask a question, please come prepared to submit it on arrival.
  • Ticket holders can arrive from 5.15pm. If you would like to arrive earlier and explore the Eden Project, you will need an Eden Project admission ticket.
  • The audience need to be seated in the Mediterranean Biome by 6pm, with recording starting at 6.15pm.
  • Two episodes are being recorded, with a short interval in between. Recording will be completed by 8.15pm.
  • Drinks and snacks will be available to purchase.
  • Episodes will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in September.
  • Recommended age: 8+

About Gardeners' Question Time

Gardeners’ Question Time is a BBC Radio 4 institution, attracting 2 million listeners a week. Recorded in a different location each week, this long-standing radio programme has answered well over 30,000 questions since its inception in 1947.

This recording marks the second time the Gardeners’ Question Time team have recorded from the home of the famous Biomes – the first being in 2015 to mark the garden’s 15th birthday. Ten years on, the team are back in honour of its approaching 25th birthday.
