Extreme Hangout

Extreme Hangout x Eden Project delivered by Earth Minutes

In the lead up to COP28, Earth Minutes ran an ‘Extreme Hangout’ event here at Eden to celebrate the importance of youth voices within climate change leadership.

The event explored climate change from the lens of football, finance and music, to ensure there was something for everyone and to encourage cross-collaboration between industries and interests.

From panel discussions, action-packed workshops to live poetry readings, visitors immersed themselves in the latest environmental research and action to help us reignite the climate change conversation here in the UK. Thank you for taking part!

What is COP28?

The UAE will host the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) from November 30 to December 12, 2023 at Expo City Dubai to unite the world towards agreement on bold, practical and ambitious solutions to the most pressing global challenge of our time.

What is the Extreme Hangout?

Inspired by EXTREME’s love of adventure sports and our passion to protect the planet, the Extreme Hangout was established in 2021 as a sustainability impact platform to give young people a voice, popularise the climate movement and inspire environmental action. Young and underrepresented people want their voices heard and have little opportunity to participate in formal proceedings. EXTREME made it their mission to give them a seat at the table and deliver a platform where they could share their concerns and opinions. For more information, please follow the button below.
