Partners

At the Eden Project we collaborate with carefully selected and like-minded partners, who are helping us to demonstrate and inspire positive action for the planet.

We are currently working with the following partners...

Volvo electric cars outside Eden Project biomes

Volvo

Volvo Car UK are the Official Electric Car Partner of the Eden Project and Presenting Partner of the Eden Sessions live music summer series.

We are very proud of our partnership with Volvo which is actively helping us to deliver our regenerative sustainability strategy and become climate positive. Volvo’s ambition is to become a fully electric car maker by 2030 and a climate neutral company by 2040. Their ethos, which is to work collaboratively across the automotive industry, acknowledging that they themselves are part of the problem – fits very closely with the Eden mission and our belief that we can only address the planetary emergency by working together.

To support our partnership, Volvo Car UK has provided the Eden Project with a fleet of XC40 Recharge pure electric vehicles. By working together collaboratively, Volvo and The Eden Project hope to tackle some of the challenges and barriers consumers have around purchasing and driving electric cars and accelerate the uptake of zero emission vehicles. This fleet of cars will also be used operationally to help deliver Eden Sessions Presented by Volvo, and help reduce the carbon footprint of the concerts.

Our long-term collaboration aims to inspire and educate visitors about our relationship with the environment, and how we can protect the planet to create a safer future.

Planet Mark

The Eden Project has been a close partner and member of Planet Mark since its launch in 2012.

Planet Mark is an internationally recognised sustainability certification which acknowledges continuous progress, encourages action, and builds an empowered community of like-minded individuals who make a world of difference. Planet Mark supports and guides organisations to achieve net zero, offering tailored certifications for businesses and real estate.

Organisations become a Planet Mark member as soon as they sign up and commit to reporting their carbon footprint and engaging their stakeholders. Once organisations have submitted the data required and Planet Mark has assessed its carbon footprint, they become Planet Mark Certified and start their journey to continually reduce their emissions.

Pukka Herbs

We have worked in partnership with Pukka Herbs since 2015, with a shared passion for connecting people, plants and the planet.

Together, we have developed exhibits and activities at the Eden Project site in Cornwall. The exhibits bring to life the stories of plants that grow in our Biomes and are used in Pukka herbal teas. At the exhibits, our visitors can taste Pukka’s herbal teas and learn how, as consumers, we can encourage the responsible cropping and trade of herbs and spices.

All Pukka teas are fair for people and the planet. They source over 200 certified organic herbs and spices from over 35 countries around the world, supporting the sustainable collection of plants from the wild.

Pukka Herbs believe doing good things helps make good things happen.
