This resource has been produced for use by teachers in schools and colleges, to introduce their students to Eden Project Morecambe, and its themes, during its construction.
You are welcome to deliver the plan as it is, but please feel free to select the slides, information and activities that are relevant to the age, ability and need of the young people with whom you work.
The assembly begins by exploring musical rhythms, before introducing some of the rhythms that are found in nature.
Next, it explains how human action has interrupted many of natures rhythms and looks more closely at specific global and local examples.
The assembly then introduces the themes of Eden Project Morecambe, looking in more detail at certain areas of the site and the narratives that will run alongside them.
Finally, it give the students suggestions of ways in which they can engage with the Eden Project Morecambe's mission at this stage in its development.
