Would you help us change the world by remembering the Eden Project in your Will?

All you need:

  • Address: Eden Project, Bodelva, Cornwall PL24 2SG
  • Registered charity number: 1093070

Why leave a gift to Eden?

The planet is under threat endangering its ability to sustain life as we know it. We face many challenges: biodiversity loss, climate change, water pollution, and food security issues. But there is still time to turn things around.

Eden is a charity – we receive no statutory funding – and our projects transform places and environments, and improve people's lives.

For example, Eden is home to the National Wildflower Centre, working to reverse ecological decline and bring wildflowers back into the UK’s living culture. Gifts we have received have meant that we can clean and provide storage facilities for threatened species, and plant hectares of wildflowers.

No matter the size, every gift to Eden helps us to achieve our mission and improve our world for the next generation.

Our promises to you

  • We understand that your loved ones will always come first
  • We won't ask you about the size or type of your gift
  • We respect your right to change your mind
  • Your gift will be used to support our area of greatest need

Why do I need to make a Will?

Your Will defines two very important things: who should inherit your money, property, and possessions; and who will be in charge of following the instructions you leave in your Will. Everyone needs a Will, regardless of age, health, or wealth.

Having a Will gives you peace of mind, by ensuring that your loved ones are provided for and your final wishes are carried out. It is also an opportunity to support the causes that have been significant to you in your lifetime, and invest in your vision for a better future.

Free Will writing service

We are pleased to offer this service through our partner Octopus Legacy, formerly known as Guardian Angel.

You are under no obligation to leave us a gift, but if you choose to do so, you could help Eden demonstrate the power of ordinary people trying to change the world for generations to come.

Octopus Legacy also provides a subscription service, so you can update your Will at any time for just £10 per year. This is free for the first year, but you can unsubscribe at any time.

The online Will writing service is only suitable for residents of England and Wales. If you are based in Scotland or Northern Ireland, have a complex estate, or would prefer to make an appointment to write your Will over the phone or in person with a solicitor, please call the Octopus Legacy team on 0800 773 4014 and quote ‘Eden Project’.

What if I already have a Will?

It is a good idea to review it regularly to ensure that it still meets your wishes; this is particularly important if your circumstances change or you would like to add or remove beneficiaries.

You can discuss making updates with your solicitor, or you are welcome to make use of our partnership with Octopus Legacy to create a brand new Will for free.
