Assistant Company Secretary
Permanent Contract, 24 hours per week

You may know our Eden Sessions with artists including Madness, Lionel Richie, Elton John and Bastille. We also lead the Big Lunch programme with over 7 million people taking part in an annual community lunch, plus we operate an extensive Apprenticeship and Degree education programme.
In short Eden is an exciting and inspiring place to work and we are looking for someone to join our Company Secretariat team on a permanent basis.
The purpose of this role is to provide accurate and reliable governance, company secretarial and project management support to the Group Company Secretary, Company Board Directors and Trustees , as well as providing additional detailed, analytical support as required.
The vital part of this role is the administration of Board and Trust meetings, which is likely to require flexibility on hours to support the Directors on meeting days, however apart from this requirement the 24 hours per week may be flexible to suit school hours.
Ideally you will have a minimum of three years’ experience working in a company secretary/governance environment, with extensive experience of minuting meetings and some knowledge of statutory requirements relating to company/charity law. This job involves high levels of confidentiality; you will be expected to operate with integrity, showing respect to complex and sensitive meetings.

Interpretation Production Manager
Full time position. 40 hours week
Reports to: Director of Interpretation
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Eden Project’s Interpretation team. We are seeking a Production Manager to project manage the production and delivery of our Interpretation programme comprising permanent exhibits, artworks, capital arts projects, the seasonal live events and temporary exhibitions at our world class tourist destination and environmental charity in Cornwall.
You should be experienced in delivering engaging permanent and temporary installations and programmes. You should relish, and be great at strategic planning, build specifications and project management: managing people (Eden’s Designer Makers, artists, freelance designers, specialist contractors…), money (budgets, payroll and non-payroll) and time (planning and programming).
You will be working with, and between, designers, creatives, makers, artists, internal and external stakeholders, suppliers and the Eden teams to realise designs and installs across exhibits, artworks, seasonal events and exhibitions. You will need to be organised, a quick thinker, good negotiator, decision maker, team leader, excellent communicator and problem solver who is adaptable, creative, patient and calm under pressure. The role is multifaceted: from strategic planning and presentations to managing teams and builds on site. A great opportunity for someone wishing to deliver a compelling interpretation programme which attracts visitors in large numbers and underpins Eden’s ethos and narrative.

Narrator Level 2

The Narrator Team are looking to recruit a Level 2 Narrator their team to enhance the visitor experience on site at Eden.
You will give a warm and friendly welcome to all visitors, engaging in conversation, responding to questions and providing assistance to enhance the visitor's experience and to reinforce their relationship with Eden, its aims and ethos.
Areas of activity within the team include hosting the ice rink and the Lookout in the Rainforest Biome.
You will be a confident communicator who feels comfortable approaching people to start a conversation and you will have previous experience in a customer service role, providing a world class service to our visitors.

Security and Safety Operative
£7.93 per hour
Annualised Hours, 24 hours per week
Evening and Night shifts
We have a vacancy in our Security Team who are responsible for ensuring the security and safety of our world renowned visitor destination 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
These roles will support the night shifts by working in the evening but will also be required to work full night shifts to cover holidays or other absences. Main duties include the locking and unlocking of all buildings across the site as required, security patrols, monitoring of all alarms systems site, responding to and providing support for emergencies. You will also play a key role in ensuring that the site is safe at all times for visitors and colleagues.
We are a busy place, outside of our opening hours as well as during them; you will often be the first point contact for people before we open to our visitors each day so will need to acquire a wide knowledge of the business.
Our ideal candidate will need to be flexible, willing to work unsociable hours and have excellent communication skills. With an increasing number of evening events this is a visitor facing role so we are looking for people who also have great customer service skills.
You will be committed to working as part of a team and keen to be involved Eden’s mission.
