At the Eden Project we are passionate about outdoor learning and nature-based play. We know that children are happier, healthier (physically, mentally and socially), and more successful as learners, if they have regular access to nature and the outdoors.

We offer training and professional development opportunities to help teachers take pupils outside as part of the everyday curriculum; to inspire schools to consider their culture of learning and play, and to re-imagine the potential of their school grounds.

Our aim is to support teachers to become outstanding practitioners of creative, outdoor learning. Our outdoor learning team are all qualified teachers who understand the challenges and practicalities of taking pupils outside. You’ll leave our sessions with your pockets stuffed full of practical tried and tested ideas.

'The day has massively inspired me to incorporate outdoor learning into the whole curriculum.'
