Eden Project Morecambe community conversation: March 2023

Eden Project Morecambe will be a ground-breaking project showcasing the latest green technology.  Its mussel shell domes will be constructed in timber and covered in a flexible transparent membrane with integrated photovoltaic solar cells. Both during the construction phase and once operational, Eden Project Morecambe will be beyond net zero and will have a positive impact on the environment. The mix of energy generation methods is still to be confirmed, but the project's energy will be fully renewable. Our pioneering work on our geothermal power plant in Cornwall is a demonstration to our commitment to renewable energy and we look forward to Eden Project Morecambe continuing this good work.
