Lionel Richie concert at the Eden Project is cancelled

The Lionel Richie concert due to take place at the Eden Project on June 14, 2022 has been cancelled.

The superstar singer confirmed today that he will be cancelling all his 2022 “Hello” European summer tour dates, including the Eden Session.

In a statement, he said: “As Covid and its variants continue to impact the world, I have decided to hold off on my European tour this summer.

“The most important thing to me is the health of my fans, band and crew. I hope you all understand and I hope to see you very soon when we can all gather safely.”

All tickets and packages for the Lionel Richie Eden Session will be refunded. Purchasers will be contacted directly with more information on the refund process.

In September 2019 the Eden Project and global live events company AEG Presents announced a new partnership, Eden Sessions Ltd, to run the Eden Sessions. 

In September this year Volvo Car UK announced a new three-year partnership as the Official Automotive Partner of the Eden Project and the Eden Sessions music concerts, a deal brokered by AEG Global Partnerships.
