The event is one of a number of exciting celebrations taking place to mark the Eden Project’s 25th anniversary and will be Bowling for Soup’s first appearance at the Eden Sessions.

The show will mark Frank Turner’s fourth time performing at the home of the iconic Biomes, having previously played in 2012, 2022 and 2024.

Bowling for Soup started in 1994 in Wichita Falls, Texas and are one of the greatest pop punk bands in history. After relocating to Denton, Texas in 1996, the band spent years in the van, playing to anyone that would listen. In 2000, the UK found humour in The Bitch Song and Bowling for Soup were off to the races.

Massive world-wide hits such as Girl All The Bad Guys Want, (Grammy nominated in 2003), 1985, Almost and High School Never Ends were soon everywhere and the band even found its way on to the big and small screens with theme songs for Jimmy Neutron and Phineas and Ferb.

Bowling for Soup have just celebrated 30 years as a band with a sold-out tour of the US, UK and Australia that also celebrated 20 years of their biggest album A Hangover You Don't Deserve.

In early 2025, after 30-plus years, co-founding member and guitarist Chris Burney announced his retirement from the band due to ongoing physical and health concerns. Lead singer-songwriter Jaret Reddick, drummer Gary Wiseman and bassist Rob Felicetti have carried on as a 3-piece insisting, “you can’t replace a legend.”

The band released the single Holding On To That Hate on September 30, 2025, being one of the first tracks recorded with the SSL Revival 4000, which has been described as the latest leap forward in analogue sound. They’ll be finishing their 2025 by playing their biggest UK headline show to date, when they take to the stage at OVO Arena Wembley in London this coming December.

Frank Turner is one of the UK’s most successful artists. Following the demise of his hardcore outfit, Million Dead, Frank has transformed himself into an internationally successful, award-winning singer and songwriter of consequential folk-punk-pop rebel songs, covering topics like atheism, sexism, excessive drinking, and the power of rock & roll. Drawing press comparisons to Billy Bragg and Bruce Springsteen among others, Frank nonetheless occupies a niche of his own in British popular music.

He released his tenth studio album, Undefeated, in May 2024 which debuted at Number 3 in the Official Album Chart and Number 1 in the Independent Album Chart. An impassioned mix of punk, pop, contemporary folk, and Celtic influences, Undefeated was cut at Frank's home studio with backing from the Sleeping Souls.

With over a million albums sold worldwide, Frank has three gold-certified albums and one silver status.

Simon Townsend, Eden Sessions director, said: " We’re thrilled to welcome both Bowling for Soup and Frank Turner to the Eden Sessions as part of our 25th anniversary celebrations. Bowling for Soup’s first-ever Eden performance, alongside Frank’s triumphant return, promises to be an unforgettable night packed with energy. These are two brilliant live acts and will bring a true celebration of great music to the Eden Sessions.”

Tickets for Bowling for Soup and Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls at the Eden Project on Sunday, July 5, 2026, cost £50 plus a £6.50 booking fee and are available through www.edensessions.com.

Tickets are on sale to Inside Track pass-holders now. The general ticket sale opens at 3:00pm on Monday, December 1, 2025.

Today’s announcement follows the news that alt-rock giants Pixies will return to the Eden Project on Friday, June 26, 2026 to celebrate both the band’s 40th anniversary and the venue’s 25th birthday. Meanwhile, indie rock favourites The Maccabees will take to the stage on Saturday, July 11, 2026. Tickets for both shows are on sale now through the Eden Sessions website.

In September 2019 the Eden Project and global live events company AEG Presents announced a new partnership, Eden Sessions Ltd, to run the Eden Sessions.

In January 2025, Volvo Car UK extended its partnership as the Presenting Partner of the Eden Sessions and Official Electric Car Partner of the Eden Project.
