Known for overcoming challenges and caring for others in need, Zog, Princess Pearl and Sir Gadabout will invite visitors to join them on a botanical quest, bringing a new challenge for families enjoying a fascinating journey around the iconic Biomes and beautiful Outdoor Gardens.

Explorers will have the opportunity to set off on their own mystical mission to help Zog and the Flying Doctors by uncovering special ingredients hidden around the site. As they go, visitors will discover characters from the story, fun facts, and clues to help them solve an intriguing puzzle.

The trail will culminate in very special Zog and the Flying Doctors experience in the centre of the breathtaking Mediterranean Biome where families can put themselves into the final scene of the story and speed away into the sky on Zog’s back.

What’s more, adventurers will have the chance to meet and capture a memorable moment with Zog himself who will be appearing throughout each day in the Pavilion.

Visitors are encouraged to come along dressed up in their best Zog-inspired costumes and share their favourite snaps to the Eden Project’s social media channels.

The fun-filled programme is based on the hugely popular book written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler, which sees Zog the dragon act as an ‘air ambulance’ to doctors Princess Pearl and Sir Gadabout, inspiring readers to use their skills and knowledge to care for others.

Elsewhere, in the Core building, families can explore their potion-making skills, using an array of natural ingredients to create their own Halloweden potions to take home with them. On the way, they can also enjoy a beautiful, autumnal display of pumpkins of various shapes and sizes – all grown at the Eden Project.

October half term also marks the return of the Eden Project’s ice rink, where guests can wrap up warm and enjoy skating in a magical setting.

Kate Francis, the Eden Project’s live producer, said: “We’re hugely excited to welcome Zog to the Eden Project this half term as part of our jam-packed programme! This time of the year is always special here, with the Eden Project filled with autumnal colour and seasonal spirit. We can’t wait to see adventurers young and old discover the wonders that await them.”
