Designed by Australian artist Amanda Parer from Parer Studio, the huge inflatable white bunnies stand at an impressive seven metres tall and are illuminated in a stark white light.
The larger-than-life translucent rabbits have been enjoyed by millions of people around the world but this is the first time they have visited the South West of England.
Amanda’s artwork, inspired by the dramatic landscape of Tasmania, aims to explore the natural world, its fragility and the role humanity has within it.
Amanda sees rabbits as animals of contradiction. They represent the fairytale animals of our childhood – with a furry innocence, frolicking through idyllic fields. The artwork, which is called ‘Intrude’, evokes this cutesy image while also revealing more serious environmental messages.
Eden’s Easter event is called Go Wild and it has many other egg-citing activities for families to enjoy including a fun ‘gofindit’ sensory treasure hunt.
Visitors will be given special cards carrying words such as tall, rough and heavy and then asked to find related objects around the site, encouraging them to take a different look at nature.
By taking photographic evidence, they will be awarded delicious treats, which for the first time will be all-vegan chocolate.
The stage area will be transformed into a magical big open woodland space for visitors to come and find out about many forms of wildlife and what it gets up to in the spring time.
Visitors can have a chance to practice their pouncing skills, drum on trees like woodpeckers, and test their animal-like agility on balance beams.
A giant game of Top Trumps will test families on their wildlife knowledge. Other games include a hedgehog version of pick-up-sticks and spotting birds hidden around the stage in the Eden bird hide.
Eden Storytellers will be weaving their magical tales, with Hope being the theme for the season.

Easter at Eden ‘Go Wild’ takes place March 28 to April 19 and all activities are included in the standard Eden admission.
