Immersive Mediterranean Experience

Yes, this Experience is accessible for adults and children over the age of 11. The tour begins in the Core building, accessible from the Visitor Centre via a bridge and a lift. From the Core you will slowly move around the Mediterranean Biome, which is fully accessible. 

The entire Experience involves level walking on paths suitable for wheelchairs for about two hours, which include stops, but could be considered strenuous to some people. The temperature in the Mediterranean Biome is usually between 9˚C–25˚C. 

If personal assistance is required for any participant, we welcome support guests. The support guest must be pre-booked and costs £20, which covers the complimentary gift pack, as we as participation in olive oil tasting activity.

This Immersive Mediterranean Experience starts at either 1.30pm or 2.30pm depending on the time of year and lasts two hours. 

We recommend you arrive in the morning to make the most of all that Eden has to offer – you can check our opening times here. On arrival, you will be welcomed by our friendly team at ticketing in the Visitor Centre. You will meet your tour guide on the ground floor of the Core building, which is a 10-15 minute walk from the Visitor Centre, so we recommend you arrive at ticketing at least 30 minutes before the start of your experience, and allow at least 15 minutes to get to the Visitor Centre from our car parks.  

Due to length of the tour, walking distance and style of the content covered, this Experience is specifically designed for adults and only suitable for older children aged 11 and over.

As the Immersive Mediterranean Experience is designed for very small groups we encourage you to book online before they sell out. However, occasionally we do have spaces on the day, which you can book when you arrive. 

As this Immersive Experience is designed for groups of up to eight people, you will have to book eight slots to have it as a private Experience. 

Please note, this Experience is not suitable for children under the age of 11.
