Staff benefits

If the feeling of belonging to a wonderful group of people isn’t enough, Eden also offers the following range of staff benefits.

Discounts and free entry

As a member of the Eden Team, we would love you to share Eden with family and close friends and based on this you are able to bring two adults and up to three children into Eden. Places should be booked with the Ticketing Supervisor in advance of the visit.

Eden Team members are also entitled to receive a substantial discount in food outlets on the Eden site, together with discounts in the Eden shop.

Additional discounts for local restaurants, shops and leisure facilities are available and are posted on the staff noticeboards around site.

Eden Team members also receive free admission to the Lost Gardens of Heligan for up to two adults and three children.

Healthcare

Eden takes great pride in looking after the healthcare needs of all our employees and offers the opportunity to buy into a healthcare scheme with Simply Health. This healthcare scheme can be bought into by any Eden employee no matter what age or condition of health.

Stakeholder Pension Scheme

Eden employees are also given the opportunity to buy into our Stakeholder Pension Scheme, which is provided by Legal and General. Personal pension contributions of a percentage of the annual salary can be made, where Eden will also make a generous contribution.

Once bought into, this pension scheme becomes personal between the employee and Legal & General and will continue even if the employee ceases to work at Eden.

Death in Service

Whilst none of us wish to think of such things, it is comforting to know that our loved ones will be assisted financially should we depart this world during time of employment with Eden.

If an employee dies whilst employed by Eden before their Normal Retirement Age a generous lump sum death benefit can be paid to their relatives, dependants or personal representatives. On signing up for the Death in Service scheme, employees fill out an ‘Expression of Wishes’ form which allows them to nominate the persons they wish to be considered for the lump sum payment.

Employees are not required to contribute to the scheme and Eden covers the whole cost of the benefit.
