Eden Marathon and Half Marathon 2020 postponed until 2021

Organisers have been closely assessing the impacts of the global coronavirus pandemic and decided that to ensure the safety and wellbeing of runners, marshals, supporters, Eden staff and supporting teams, the races could not go ahead this year.
All registered runners will be automatically deferred to the new date, and are being emailed directly.
We would like to assure all runners that we share their disappointment, but we are sure they will understand why the Marathon and Half Marathon cannot go ahead this year.
We send our heartfelt thanks to everyone for their patience and understanding while we have worked through these unprecedented times to reach this decision. The good news is that the Eden Marathon and Half Marathon will be back in 2021.
To everyone who was looking forward to this year’s Marathon and Half Marathon and to all past and future runners of this event we say thanks so much for supporting the Eden Marathon and Half Marathon.

For registered runners
Will my 2020 registration be valid for the rebooked 2021 date?
Yes. All runners who are transferred to the new date (i.e. who do not apply for a refund by 4 September) will receive email confirmation of their transfer from FR Systems in the week beginning 5 September.
If I am unable to make the revised date, can I get a refund?
If you are unable to make the revised date, you will need to apply for a refund by Friday 4 September. To apply for a refund please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your booking reference.
I have booked my travel and accommodation for the 2020 Eden Marathon and Half Marathon – will this be refunded?
Eden Marathon terms and conditions state that we are not able to refund or reimburse any costs entrants may have incurred for travel, accommodation, any other related goods or service or other compensation. You will need to contact the accommodation and/or travel provider directly for their terms and conditions for refunds.
