The all-new theatrical experience takes place on select dates between November 22 and December 24.
Visitors will be led on an immersive journey to discover the magic of Christmas as they explore a treasure trove of festive wonder and timeless traditions, promising a heavy helping of Christmas nostalgia. Each child will have the opportunity to meet Father Christmas and take home a very special keepsake that embodies Christmas magic.
Late openings on select dates between November 21 and January 4 allow visitors to see Eden like never before. Each Christmas, the Eden Project transforms into a sparkling botanical wonderland, with twinkling displays weaving through the gardens and enormous Biomes lit up like gigantic baubles.
Journeying through each Biome, visitors will find totally different experiences. The Mediterranean Biome bursts with Christmas sparkle and a showstopping music and light show, getting the party started with classic festive cheer delivered by the sleigh-full.
The Rainforest Biome entices with jaw-dropping illuminations that snake, dangle and pour amongst the tropical plants as the swell of powerful music centres each visitor in the midst of their very own jungle adventure.
The glittering, undercover ice rink is back, with bookable sessions, lessons, and family-friendly and toddler play sessions. After twirling on the ice, hungry mouths can feast on festive foods at the various cafes, or treat themselves to an all-new, indulgent three-course Christmas lunch set in the iconic Mediterranean Biome.
Simon Townsend, general manager at the Eden Project, said: “This is my favourite time of year at Eden. We invest a huge amount of time and energy into creating a magical Christmas extravaganza. We have our biggest ever Father Christmas experience taking place in a new location in the Core, the Biomes are always showstopping and the ice rink is the cherry on top.”
The Cornwall Christmas Fair also returns on November 19 and 20, with more than 60 stalls from independent makers and retailers. Funds raised support local charities through the Cornwall Community Foundation, with almost £70,000 raised last year.
