Summer of Play now under way at the Eden Project

Eden’s jam-packed Summer of Play is now on until September 3, offering visitors an unforgettable summer of fun, discovery and adventure, centred around a spectacular new play area, Nature’s Playground.

Summer of Play at the Eden Project is now on

The home of the Biomes has been transformed into a vibrant tapestry of family games, storytelling and activities for all to get involved with.

The Stage and Arena area has been transformed into a colourful den-building village, while family-friendly outdoor games and challenges can be found in the Orchard. Storytelling will take place twice a day in the Mediterranean Biome and a magnificent boardgame compendium waits to be discovered in the Tipis.

Nature’s Playground is the new, natural, adventure play area featuring a majestic nine-metre tall Tree of Life tower for climbing, scrambling and crawling up and over to discover panoramic views of the gardens and Biomes.

Covering nearly 500 square metres, the play area is complete with slides, swings, ladders, a wood wide web, water play and even a miniature clay pit, encompassing sensory, imaginative and accessible play across its woodland landscape.

Relaxed sessions are available to book every Sunday over the summer for those who’d benefit from an environment with fewer people and those with sensory or communication needs.

A special Member’s evening will take place on August 16 (6pm – 8pm) with a Den Building Masterclass, picnic hamper and story.

Entry to Nature’s Playground is included with any valid form of admission. Pre-booking is required for arrival at any time within an hour window. Find out more at
