Every day is different, but you’ll always find a fine selection of freshly prepared food, including handmade pastries in the morning, savoury dishes at lunchtime and amazing cakes and scones in the afternoon.

We cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free diets. If you have a specific requirement or allergy, please tell a member of staff. 


Lunch is served from around 12 noon. Choose from traditional dishes served in the Eden Kitchen (the side of the café nearest the Mediterranean Biome, on the right) or world dishes in the Eden World Kitchen (the side of the café nearest the Rainforest Biome, on the left). 

Traditional dishes 

All main dishes are served with Eden-grown salads.

Sweet potato and goat's cheese pastry galette, £8.95
Topped with pumpkin seeds, a hint of chili and gremolata infused Cornish rapeseed oil

Roasted cauliflower steak, £7.95
Marinated with maple syrup and Middle Eastern spices with sweet-roasted red onions and coriander, lime and avocado chutney

Chargrilled lime and coriander chicken, £9.95
Roasted on a bed of Eden grown peppers, tomatoes and courgettes

With an orange and harissa glaze, with fresh coriander, fennel and toasted pumpkin seeds

Chef's homemade soup of the day served with locally baked artisan bread (£5.95)

Children’s lunch menu 

The children's lunch menu is recommended for children aged eight and under, and is available until 4pm. We offer a more limited kids' menu for the evenings (see below).

Sticky lemon chicken drumsticks, £5.50

A sustainable white fish and smoked mackerel fishcake with parsley, dill and mustard, in a crisp panko crumb with a lemon wedge and Cornish harissa ketchup, served with winter greens or garden peas.

Mac ‘n’ cheese, £5.25
Baked mac ‘n’ cheese served with winter greens or garden peas.

Highchairs are available for younger children.

World dishes

Stunning homemade cakes, cream teas and cookies (including vegan and gluten-free options) are served from 2.30pm until close.

Sourcing and recycling

We’re proud that over 80% of the money we spend on catering suppliers is spent on businesses in Cornwall and Devon. We use only Cornish meat, dairy and eggs in our on-site cafes – as well as Cornish salad leaves when they are in season. Find out about our sourcing.

We recycle a lot of our food waste in a huge composter that transforms it into a nitrogen-rich soil enhancer for our gardens.

Please bring your own refillable water bottle to help us cut down on the use of plastics.
