Little Eden for under-fives with their parent, grandparent or carer

A weekly club for under-fives with their parent, grandparent or carer, set in Eden’s magical wild perimeters, where together we celebrate the great outdoors through games and stories, quests and hunts, making and creating, and campfire cooking.

This club for parents, grandparents, carers and their under-fives is designed to help children and their families play and learn together through outdoor games and activities.

What sort of things we get up to

Each week we meet in beautiful ancient fields and woodland on Eden’s outer estate for an hour and a half, where we’ll get you and your child involved in games and stories, quests and treasure hunts, making and creating things, and even campfire cooking activities.

You can see what we've been up to previously on our Little Eden Facebook page.

Find a map of the outer estate here.

LE quote 1

Mother from Lostwithiel, with a three-year-old daughter

“ There is always a selection of activities like bubbles, a mud kitchen and crafts and Jasmine loves toasting marshmallows on the fire. ”

Who it’s for

Little Eden is for children of pre-school age (aged 18 months to five years) and their parent, grandparent or carer. You’ll be part of a group of up to 15 children. You accompany your child or grandchild throughout the session.

Dates and Times

Little Eden Sessions will run from 10-11.30am on the following Tuesdays:

  • 5, 12, 19, 26 March
  • 16, 23, 30 April
  • 7, 14, 21 May
  • 4, 11, 18, 25 June
  • 2, 9, 16 July

Where do sessions take place?

The sessions are set at the magical Little Carne Farm, in Eden’s wider estate. (We’ll send you directions once you’ve booked.) We plan to be outside every week unless the weather is dangerously bad. We have a wonderful shelter around our fire, so a bit of drizzle is no problem. We also have a composting loo.

When you book we'll send you joining instructions by email.

How to book

There is no need to buy an Eden Project admission ticket; instead, simply book a place on the session/s of your choice at the top of this page.

If you or your child could benefit from attending but you cannot afford the session cost, please contact natureconnections@edenproject.com to ask about available funding and eligibility.  For referrals from social prescribers, health visitors, health professionals and early years support workers contact natureconnections@edenproject.com
